BREAKING NEWS - Jordan Recalls Ambassador To Israel To Protest Detention Of Heba Labadi And Abdul Rahman Miri
Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi's tweet

Jordan has finally acted on behalf of its two citizens that have been rotting in Israeli dungeons for over two months without charge or trial, by recalling its ambassador to Israel.
Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi tweeted "In light of Israeli government refusal to heed our legitimate demands for releasing Jordanian citizens Hiba Labadi & Abdul Rahman Miri who have been illegally detained without charges for months, we decided to recall our ambassdor in tell Aviv for consultation as a first step. We hold Israeli government responsible for the lives of our citizens whose health conditions have severely deteriorated in illegal arbitrary detention. We will take all necessary legal & diplomatic measures to ensure their safe return home. Administrative detention is illegal."
This follows reports that tortured Palestinian-Jordanian hunger striker Heba Labadi, who was rushed to hospital in critical condition on 27th October, has today, despite her frail state after 34 days of hunger strike, been dragged out of her hospital bed, and dumped back in her tiny damp underground cockroach infested cell at Israels notorious dungeon at Al Jalame. This is despite the recommendations of the doctors who advised that she should be kept in hospital at least for a week.
This also follow protests in Jordan, Palestine and around the world, including London, demanding Jordan act to save their citizens from Israel's torture dens.
Whist the Israeli ambassador hasn't been booted out of Jordan, this still has to be seen as a positive first step. The last time the Jordanian ambassador was recalled was 5 years ago over at attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and before that, 10 years ago over the Israeli attack on Gaza. Both were unfortunately just temporary recalls.
